The new album will be available in different formats. NuclearBlast is selling the deluxe edition with alot of extras, not only you'll be getting the big deluxe digipack edition which contains, next to the 'Cult of the dead' cd also a BONUS DVD and Live CD from Rockhard, you'll also be getting a LOTD exclusive bag, a cheese block with Legion of the damned logo on it, to cut your favourite dutch cheese, but it also comes with a limited exclusive 42 pages Legion of the damned magazine filled with exclusive photos and interviews with the bandmembers as well as their roadcrew.

We are getting closer and closer to our album release. We finished our BONUS DVD today, which makes it one step closer again. We are also ready to start announcing our first tour in December. More tours and festivals will be announced later, be prepared because Legion of the damned may destroy your city as well ;-)

Finally done with mixing and recording 'Cult of the dead'. Right now working on alot of other things to make this release perfect such as the booklet and the bonus DVD. Everything will be killer and looking GREAT!
9th of September 2008 (10:20) - STUDIO TIME
So, ladies and gentlemen, Legion of the damned will enter the studio this week and spending the next 3 weeks recording "Cult of the dead", the songs are done, the lyrics are finished and we are ready!!
Expect very soon the videodiary online and follow Legion of the damned along recording their new album.

26nd of August 2008 (19:20) - LIMITED EDITION "CULT OF THE DEAD" + DVD
Recording time is almost there. We'll be entering the Stage One Studio in Buhne, Germany, from September 11th until October 3rd to record the new album entitled "Cult of the dead".
The special edition will include, as always, a DVD. The content of that DVD will be us playing all the songs on the album in our rehearsalroom. We are already spending every free hours on building the DVD, right now for your enjoyment you can see some screenshots below of the animations we are working on at the moment. Get this special edition as soon as it gets out since they are truely limited.
We are really looking forward to train our buttcheeks again in studio. How the new album is going to be? Ofcourse we tried some keyboards and we did try some female voices and even Harold tried to learn to play some bagpipes, but nah...that ain't work for us haha ;-) Legion of the damned stays fucking Legion of the damned, so expect the ultimate test on your neckmuscles!!

We would like to thank everyone supporting us at Partysan Open Air. We were absolute surprised how many people showed up during our signingsession, we can't thank you enough for that! But we are back in Holland again, which means back working on our new album "Cult of the dead", until this stage I can reveal a few more titles for the upcoming album: Solar Overlord, Curse of the Bokor, Pray and suffer, Cult of the dead, House of possession and Black templar. We will also announce very soon the 5 winners of a ticket to the Bochum show.

We have for the Bochum show 5 tickets to give away. Legion of the damned will present their new album "Cult of the dead" during this special event which will be celebrated with SODOM at the Matrix, Bochum. So get on with it, fill in the questions, answer right and WIN a ticket!! The band will be celebrating the whole night at this club, so you can meet them and celebrate with them! Event will take place on December 19th.
Good news for those who wanna keep track of what we are doing in studio in September recording 'Cult of the dead', we will bring some computer and camera to the studio and while being online we can shoot ourselves and report online for you guys, exclusive at this website only! There will be an extra page for this, so even if you can't check from time to time, you can still follow up since we keep all the parts online. So check in around September, and don't miss any episode.
As for the album, rehearsal and writing process, everything seems pretty good. We finished around 9 songs so far. The songs are killer!! Also preparing for PartySan Open Air, which will be in 2-3 weeks. We are really looking forward to play in Germany again.
Hmm....everybody should ask Richard on the next tour why he has so many trees growing in his garden :-)
